Troy, New York-August 13, 2001 - STEP Tools, Inc., the forerunner in developing STEP-integration software toolsets for the global marketplace, announced today the company will participate in the STEP-NC Public Seminar held at EMO 2001, the World's Largest Machine Tool Fair, held in Hannover, Germany from September 12 -19, 2001. On Friday, September 14, 2001, companies will assemble for the STEP-NC public seminar to be held in Room 1B, in the middle of the "Hannover Messe" located on the EMO fair grounds.
The STEP-NC Public Seminar will be presented from 10:00am to 1pm on Friday morning. Dr. Martin Hardwick, president and CEO of STEP Tools, Inc., will update the worldwide audience on the current momentum of STEP-NC in the United States from 12:25 pm to 12:45 pm. Dr. Hardwick will cover the Super Model Project, eManufacturing, and STEP's role as the "next frontier" technology in web-centric solutions that are being developed for design-to-manufacturing integration. Other guest speakers representing prestigious firms will speak on STEP-NC including DaimlerChrysler, VOLVO, Dassault Systémes and Siemens.
