4 Information requirements

This clause specifies the information requirements for the Drawing structure and administration application module. The information requirements are specified as the Application Reference Model (ARM) of this application module.

NOTE 1  A graphical representation of the information requirements is given in Annex C.

NOTE 2  The mapping specification is specified in 5.1. It shows how the information requirements are met by using common resources and constructs defined or imported in the MIM schema of this application module.

The following EXPRESS specification begins the Drawing_structure_and_administration_arm schema and identifies the necessary external references.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
SCHEMA Drawing_structure_and_administration_arm;
(*

4.1 Required AM ARM

The following EXPRESS interface statement specifies the elements imported from the ARM of another application module.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
USE FROM Foundation_representation_arm;    --  ISO/TS 10303-1006
(*

NOTE 1   The schemas referenced above are specified in the following part of ISO 10303:

Foundation_representation_arm ISO/TS 10303-1006

NOTE 2   See Annex C, Figures C.1and C.2 for a graphical representation of this schema.

4.2 ARM type definition

This subclause specifies the ARM type for this application module. The ARM type and definition is specified below.

4.2.1 draughting_approval_item   EXPRESS-G

A drawing or drawing sheet that is approved.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
TYPE draughting_approval_item = SELECT
   (Drawing_revision,
    Drawing_sheet_revision);
END_TYPE;
(*

4.3 ARM entity definitions

This subclause specifies the ARM entities for this module. Each ARM application entity is an atomic element that embodies a unique application concept and contains attributes specifying the data elements of the entity. The ARM entities and definitions are specified below.

4.3.1 Draughting_approval_assignment   EXPRESS-GMapping table

The assignment of an approval to one or more drawings or drawing sheets.

NOTE    This ARM entity embodies the requirements of Approval_assignment. in the Approval module. However, Draughting_approval_assignment has not been made a subtype of Approval_assignment, because the corresponding MIM entity is taken from ISO 10303-505 'Drawing structure and administration', and is not a subtype of applied_approval_assignment. This would contradict the mapping in the Approval module.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
ENTITY Draughting_approval_assignment;
  items : SET[1:?] OF draughting_approval_item;
END_ENTITY;
(*

Attribute definitions:

items: The drawings or drawing sheets that are approved.

4.3.2 Drawing_revision   EXPRESS-GMapping table

A Drawing_revision is a particular revision of a drawing.

NOTE    The information that shall be recorded for a Drawing_revision is specified by ISO 10303-505 'Drawing structure and administration'

EXPRESS specification:

*)
ENTITY Drawing_revision
  SUBTYPE OF (Representation);
END_ENTITY;
(*

4.3.3 Drawing_sheet_revision   EXPRESS-GMapping table

A Drawing_sheet_revision is the specification of a particular revision of a drawing sheet.

NOTE    The information that shall be recorded for a Drawing_sheet_revision is specified by ISO 10303-505 'Drawing structure and administration'

EXPRESS specification:

*)
ENTITY Drawing_sheet_revision
  SUBTYPE OF (Representation);
END_ENTITY;
