Application module implementation and usage guide

Additive manufacturing is a layered manufacturing process. ISO/ASTM 52900:2015 "Standard Terminology for Additive Manufacturing" defines seven Process Categories for additive manufacturing: binder jetting, directed energy deposition, material extrusion, material jetting, powder bed fusion, and sheet lamination. Polymer, metallic, and ceramic materials are used in additive manufacturing processes. To prepare part (workpiece) geometry for a specific additive manufacturing process, build orientation, build placement, and support geometry can be specified. The standard allows for the specification of a workpiece build orientation and build placement relative to the build platform of an additive manufacturing process. It also specifies the relationship between the build platform, supports, and workpiece.
